As a Mom of an athletic child I have spent many weekends, as well as, week days watching volunteers coach my child. I must say that the Flag Football Kids league has taught my child more skills, discipline and team spirit then I could ever have expected. My child has more confidence and self-pride from only one season under the supervision and guidelines of this league. This is definitely not your ordinary organization. From the head of the league to the volunteer coaches, everything is run like a well-oiled machine. Each child learned something new and had the opportunity to do something special. My son has such a great respect for his team mates and coaches – something he never learned in other organizations and he LOVES wearing his jersey. Even the banquet was something we had never experienced before. From the beautiful trophies (that were made of real marble and not cheap plastic) to the heart-felt words form the president of the league (who honestly knew each child and what they had accomplished). You could tell by the way he was choked up and almost cried on more than a few occasions, I am very happy my family has had the opportunity to be a part of something that has reached so many kids. We look forward to many seasons of learning and enjoyment!
