Police are searching for a GMC Safari or a Chevrolet Astro Van that they believe was involved in a hit-rand-run with a pedestrian early Sunday near the intersection of Babcock Boulevard and Three Degree Road in Ross.
Natural gas removal closes Shaler fitness center
The community fitness center at Shaler Area High School will be closed until at least Monday while Dominion Peoples Gas crews work to remove natural gas from the ground near a leak outside the building, Superintendent Donald Lee said.

A man who was struck and critically injured while walking along McKnight Road 10 years ago made a plea Friday for a hit-and-run motorist to surrender. Russ Senft, who spent eight days in a coma after a 1998 accident, is offering a $2,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the motorist who struck and critically injured Karen Graziano, 53, of Wexford. Graziano was struck at 12:50 a.m. Sunday while she was walking near the intersection of Babcock Boulevard and Three Degree Road in Ross. The Pittsburgh Trib has more details.
