Trinity Lutheran
Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church is sponsoring a recital Sunday, May 18, featuring local artist Rose Kostilnik, who will play the oboe, as well as Trinity organist Natalie DeBenedetto Rapp.

Wexford Community Presbyterian
Wexford Community Presby-terian Church will celebrate its 50th anniversary June 1.
In honor of the milestone, the outreach and fellowship committee will host a movie night in Fellowship Hall on May 31. Only one service, the 50th anniversary chartering service celebration, will be held at 10 a.m. June 1. Lunch will follow the service.
Parish festival
St. Mary of the Assumption is hosting its annual parish festival from 7 to 11 p.m., June 19 and 20, and from 6 to 10:30 p.m. on June 21.
Dinners served nightly include spaghetti on Thursday, chicken on Friday and roast beef on Saturday.
Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for children. The festival will have other food, beverages and a Chinese auction.
Other attractions include games, rides, bingo and crafts.
The church is located at 2510 Middle Road in Glenshaw.
During the parish festival, St. Mary of the Assumption also will host its Gigantic Flea Market.
The flea market will take place from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., June 19 through 21.
Rummage sale
A giant rummage sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at First United Church of Christ in Millvale on Saturday, May 31.
The rummage fair will feature an array of items as well as a bake sale and refreshments.
The church is located at 425 North Ave. in Millvale.

Memorial walk
Ingomar United Methodist Church will hold the second annual Memorial Walk at 9 a.m., Saturday, to honor the life, love and service of loved ones who have died.
The walk will start at Pie Traynor Field in North Park and will be up to 1 1/2 miles suitable for all ages.
There is a $10 fee, or maximum of $30 per household, which includes refreshments and a commemorative T-shirt.

Allison Park Church
"New Start" is a group that offers support and encourages people who are struggling with broken relationships, separation or divorce.
This group is grounded in Christian principles and focuses on providing an atmosphere of growth, healing and fellowship.
New Start meets at 7 p.m. on Mondays. The group meets at Allison Park Church, room 206, 2326 Duncan Ave. in Allison Park.
Stoneridge Church
The 9th annual 5K and 10K Stoneridge Race takes place on Memorial Day, May 26, at 8:30 a.m. The run is held at the Stoneridge Church of Allison Park, 811 Dressel Road.
Walkers for the 5K are welcome. The cost is $13 for pre-registrations, and $16 for race-day registrations. Call 412-486-7778. All kids ages 12 and under will receive finishing trophies.
