The Redevelopment Authority of Allegheny County has awarded more than $173,000 for five projects intended to repair, beautify and protect three Allegheny River towns hit hard by flooding. Approved were three projects in Millvale and one each in Etna and Sharpsburg. Millvale Manager Virginia Pucci said her town is "very happy" to be receiving more than $125,000 for its three projects.  read more »
